It's Official...

A few weeks ago, the new official portrait for President Barack Obama was released. It was taken by Pete Souza, the newly announced official White House photographer. It is the first time that an official presidential portrait was taken with a digital camera. That camera was the new Canon 5D Mark II. What does that have to do with you, you might ask? Well,.... Drum Roll, Please! My new Canon 5D Mark II officially arrived today!!! I am squealing right now. That means all my future 2009 clients will be sitting in front of the same camera as your Mr. President. Now, whether you like him or not, that is officially pretty cool, don't you think?!

Two very cool things happened yesterday.

1. We got these really cool t-shirts in the mail that our super cool friend Abraham Bowater designed. He has a profile on Redbubble.com, check him out by clicking on his name!

AND 2. Thomas defended his dissertation and blew them way with his awesomeness! I am so proud of him and so happy to see him able to enjoy life again now that that is over. Way to go baby!! TWO Thumbs up!

A Note On Crazy Water

False alarm, if you read this post earlier today, than you read about the 3 minute special Channel 8 in Dallas is doing on Crazy Water. It was going to be this week, now it is next week which is GREAT because we were panically putting together a new look for the website. Hopefully now we can calmly get this done right!

Those of you that can get the Fort Worth Star Telegram, look for an article tomorrow, April 18(date changed), on the Famous Water Co. The paper says,"The article will be in tomorrow’s Food section – it’s our lead story “The Green Party.” It possibly can be found online. Tell me how the photographs come out. I can't seem to find anyone that sells the newspaper in Lubbock. Therefore I will have to be patient and see the article this weekend when I pass through Mineral Wells. I am hoping my MOM will purchase a few...

Crazy Water Bottles, Please VOTE!

Woo Whoo, I did it!

I love my natural hair color, but lately I wanted something a little different. I never dyed or permed or did anything different with my hair but cut it straight. Today I had a cut and a little under color. I LOVE IT! And my husband loves it too. I have such a great husband!

Oh Yes!

I nearly forgot to post the final cut photo for announcing my niece's birth! I get to see her again this weekend. I am soo excited.

I like this photo because my brother-in-law is a drummer and they played a djembe at their wedding.

Tonight I have the opportunity to take photos at a Cotton Kings game. I am a little nervous, but way excited!
