Wedding!

A few weeks ago I second shot for the fabulous Brandi Price. The first daughter of our ex-boss and college professor, made a gorgeous bride. And the weather, oh man, was amazing as well. Check out those clouds before the wedding. We never saw a drop come from them, but I felt the cool breeze come in.















It was such an honor to be behind the scenes of this wedding. Emily and Kress, I wish you a happily ever after!

Fairy Tale

This shoot was a bit like a fairy tale. We rescued frogs, chased bubbles and sang about dragons all in the beautiful surroundings of Clark Gardens outside of Mineral Wells. This is another long time friend with a sweet growing family. I could not be more honored to capture this morning with them in the garden.

My favorite part was very few of these shots were set up. These sweet ladies interacted so tenderly together, I hope that shows through these images.

I think someone has had her photo taken before :) I did not ask her to pose, she is just that cute.

For those of you that pray, please lift this family up in your prayers today. My friend's mom has started another battle with cancer. 15 years ago she won that battle, but again the cancer has crept in. I tell you, I have never seen someone so positive & brave in the face of a fight.

Baby Cate

A couple a weeks back I photographed this sweet growing family and long time friends. You may remember mom and daughter from the double maternity I shot back in June. Sweet baby Cate has arrived and all the image have been chosen for the announcement. So now I get to show you a few more of my favorites that were not on the card.

I think she is going to be an awesome big sis.

I have been bogged down and pumping out design work these last few weeks. Sometimes it is not as fun to show off as the photography. But this one is! I have two photo shoots I need to finish processing and share with you. That will hopefully come next week once I get past my most recent pressuring deadline. Then I have a wedding and a twin photo shoot coming soon! I can't wait!

W is for Wowzers!

Prints are fun, especially if they are for me! I really do get giddy when prints come in. I am slowly adding to my office collection! This one is the largest so far, 24x36 metallic print!

I have a busy week ahead, I have two out-of-town shoots Thursday and Friday and back by Friday night to meet up with some old Lubbock neighbor friends. Then a wedding Saturday night in Fredericksburg. Today I am cramming to get work done before I hit the road. I am hoping to bring some of that rain from north TX back with me. Man, don't we need it?! I am also praying for my sweet friend who is expecting twins. We want those little cutie-pies to stay safe inside mommy one more week! After that we can't wait to meet them!!!

Tunnel Kids

I have to admit, the power of facebook is amazing these days. Yeah, I said it.. I find old friends, or they find me and in a few days I'm taking pictures of their beautiful children I didn't know they had. This sweet little family is just precious. It is refreshing to watch two friends, that have been married 8 years, that are still in love and admire each other. They have been through so many life changing events since I last saw them, but Mom and Dad are the real deal, Jesus loving, happy baby raising couple. It was so good to catch up.
